Michael Chung is our Executive Chairman and CEO. He is primarily responsible for the overall business, operations and strategies of our Group. Part of his duties includes charting the growth of our Group and managing our Group's human resource affairs such as formulating staff and management training programmes. Since founding our Group with Hugo Chung in 1986, he has continued to play a critical role in building our Group's corporate identity and shaping its culture. He is a high school graduate, and has over 20 years of experience in the PCB mould industry.
Hugo Chung is our Executive Director (Business Development) and is in-charge of formulating and executing the business development strategies of our Group. He is also actively involved in the marketing activities of our Group and is responsible for developing and maintaining our Group's good relations with our strategic partners. With over 20 years of experience in the PCB manufacturing and punching mould industry, he supports our Executive Chairman and CEO in the overall management of our Group and oversees our Group's business and marketing operations. He is also our General Manager overseeing the operations of National Chance's electroplating business.
Martin Chan is our Executive Director (Finance and Administration) and was appointed on 6 May 2005. He has been with our Group since October 1997. He is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial and administrative matters of our Group. Prior to joining our Group, he worked as an accountant and assistant accounting manager with subsidiary of two listed companies in Hong Kong. He began his career at a local auditing firm in Hong Kong in 1994 before moving into the accounting field in 1996. He holds an Honours Diploma in Accountancy from Lingnan College in Hong Kong and a Master of Finance degree from Curtin University of Technology in Australia.
Michael Tam is a Non-executive Director of our Group and was appointed on 7 March 2006. Mr. Tam is currently a director in TLC CPA Limited, a firm of certified public accountants in Hong Kong and has more than 20 years of experience in tax consulting, audits of public and private entities. He holds an Honours Diploma in Accountancy from Lingnan College in Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom. Mr. Tam a practising member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a registered member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants (England and Wales) and the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. He is currently an Independent non-executive director of Hengxin Technology Ltd.
Jeffrey Wong is an Independent Director of our Group and was appointed on 15 July 2005. Mr. Wong is the Chairman of our Audit Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Nanyang University in Singapore and he started his career with a local bank. In his 20 years with the bank, he worked in various areas of responsibilities covering credit and marketing functions before pursuing new commercial opportunities in the automobile and engineering industries.
Patrick Chee Teck Kwong is an Independent Director of our Group and was appointed on 7 March 2006. Mr. Chee chairs our Remuneration and Nominating Committees. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) Degree from the University of Singapore. Mr. Chee is admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Since 1980 he has been an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Singapore. He is now practicing as a Senior Legal Consultant with KhattarWong. Mr. Chee is a Notary Public and a Commissioner for Oaths. He is a member of Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and Singapore Institute of Directors. He is also an independent director of CSC Holdings Limited, China International Holdings Limited, PSC Corporation Ltd, Ramba Energy Limited, Tat Seng Packaging Group Ltd, Hai Leck Holdings Limited and Hengxin Technology Ltd. Mr. Chee is the recipient of the National Day Awards 2003 – The Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masayarakat) from the President of Republic of Singapore.
